객체진동세계

《객체진동세계 Object Vibroscape》는 김이단과 이해동이 후각과 청각을 잇는 ‘후청각(OlfactOaudiO)’ 감각을 통해 시각중심적·인간중심적 위계와 질서에 질문을 던지는 전시이다. 두 작가는 사물과 환경에 잠재된 미세한 진동을 포착하고, 이를 소리와 냄새 등 인간이 감각 가능한 형태로 번역한다.

일상에서 사용해 온 사물로 구성된 ‘진동의 정원’에서 작가의 일상적 행위는 객체들의 움직임과 발향, 소리로 이어진다. 이 신호들은 야생 객체들의 진동과 얽히며 공간 전체에 확산되고 서로 공명한다. 전시는 인간, 사물과 기계 사이의 상호작용을 드러내고, 서로 다른 존재들이 평평하게 존재하며 감각적 사건을 공유하는 ‘감각의 공동체’를 제안한다. 

Object Vibroscape is an exhibition by Haedong Lee and Yidan Kim that questions visual- and human-centred hierarchies and orders through OlfactOaudiO, a sensory practice that connects olfaction and audition. The artists capture subtle vibrations latent in objects and environments, translating them into forms perceptible to humans, such as sound and smell.

In a “Garden of Vibrations” composed of objects from the artists’ everyday lives, their everyday movements set objects in motion, giving rise to smell and sound. These signals intertwine with the vibrations of wild objects, dispersing throughout the space and resonating with one another. The exhibition reveals the interactions between humans, objects, and machines, proposing a “community of the senses” in which different beings exist on an equal plane and share sensory events.
