시선이 만든 세계 World by Gaze

윤종석(1970~)은 한남대학교 미술교육과와 같은 대학 대학원 미술학과를 졸업했다. 서울과 대전, 일본, 이탈리아, 중국, 싱가포르 등에서 15회의 개인전을 가졌다. 2006 화랑미술제 Best Top 10 선정, 롯데화랑 유망작가 지원 프로그램 선정, 대한민국청년비엔날레 청년미술상, 대한민국미술대전 우수상 및 특선, 대전광역시 초대작가상 등을 수상했다. 또한 중국 베이징 아트사이드 스튜디오, 장흥 가나 스튜디오, 프랑스 파리 씨떼 예술공동체, 대만 타이페이 아티스트빌리지 등의 레지던시 프로그램에 초대되어 참여했다. 그의 작품은 국립현대미술관 미술은행, 수원시립미술관, 롯데미술관 등에 소장되어 있다. 현재 남양주 ‘과수원 스튜디오’에서 전업작가로 활동 중이다.

Jong-seok Yoon (b. 1970) received BFA in Art Education and MFA in Fine Art from Hannam University. He has held numerous solo exhibitions in Seoul, Daejeon, Japan, Italy, China, and Singapore. He has received awards including Best Top 10 Artist at the Galleries Art Fair 2006, Lotte Galleries Promising Artist Program support, Young Artist Award at the Korean Youth Biennale, Excellence and Special Awards at the Korea National Art Competition, and Daejeon Metropolitan City Invitation Award. Yoon participated in residency programs such as Beijing ArtSide Studio, Jangheung Gana Studio, Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, and the Artist Village in Taipei. His work is held in collections including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank, Seoul Museum of Art, Daejeon Museum of Art, and other institutional and corporate collections. Yoon currently works full-time at his private studio “Gwasu-won” in Namyangju, Korea.
