Personal Introduction- Mr. Yang-Chun Chen
陳陽春出生於1946年，臺灣省雲林縣人，有「水彩畫大師」、「儒俠」、「文化大使」之美譽，曾任美國田納西大學訪問教授，並榮獲美國田納西州諾城榮譽市民及市鑰、國立雲林科技大學兼任教授、齊齊哈爾大學客座教授、環球技術學院榮譽教授、國立臺灣藝術大學兼任教授。
진양춘은 1946년 대만 타이완성 윈린현에서 태어났다. ‘수채화대가’, ‘문화대사’라 불리워지는 그는 미국 테네시대학교 방문교수를 역임한 바 있으며, 미국 테네시주 녹스빌 명예시민으로 임명 받았다. 뿐만 아니라 국립 윈린과학기술대학교 겸임교수, 치치하얼대학교 객원교수, 국립대만예술대학교 겸임 교수로 재직한 바 있다.
Mr. Yang-Chun Chen was born in 1946, and was from Yunlin Hsien of Taiwan. He is having beautiful reputations such as “Master of Color Painting”, ”Swordsman of Ruism”, and “Cultural Ambassdor”. He has been a visiting professor in the Tennessee University of the United States, and is having the honors to include Honorary Citizen & Key of the city from Knoxville of Tennessee State in the United States, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology Part-Time Professor, Qiqihar University Visiting Professor, Transworld Institute of Technology Honorary Professor, and National Taiwan University of Arts Part-Time Professor.
陳氏自七歲習字，十四歲習畫，國立北港高中傑出校友、國立臺灣藝術大學50週年傑出楷模校友、中國文藝協會「文藝獎章」、文建會頒贈「資深文化人」，外交部頒贈「外交部之友紀念章」，僑委會頒贈「感謝狀」，沉浸水彩藝術創作四十餘載，獨創「迷離夢幻」之技法，「飄逸出塵」之畫風。
진양춘은 7세에 글자를 깨우치고, 14세부터 그림을 그리기 시작하였다. 그는 국립 베이강고등학교 및 국립대만예술대학교 50주년 기념 자랑스런 동문으로 선출되었다. 뿐만 아니라 중국문예협회 ‘문예훈장’, 대만 문화건설회가 수여하는 ‘전문문화인’, 외교부의 ‘외교우호 기념훈장’, 교무위원회의 ‘감사훈장’을 받은 바 있다. 그는 40여년 동안 수채화 창작활동에 몰두하며 몽환적인 기법과 흩날리는 듯한 자신만의 독창적인 화풍을 창조해냈다.
Mr. Chen has studied how to write since 7 years old and how to draw since 14 years old. He is also as National Beigang Senior High School OutstandingAlumnus,and50thAnniversaryofOutstandingRoleModelAlumnusfromNationalTaiwanUniversityofArts,moreover,hehasreceived“LiteraryandArtWorksAward”fromChineseWriters'&Artists'Association, been awarded with “Cultural Person in Seniority”from Council for Cultural Affairs, been awarded with “Friends of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Memorial Badage”from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and been awarded with “Thank-You Note”from Oversea Compatriot Affairs Commission. He has immersed himself in the art creations of color paintings for over 40 years, and has created on his own of a technique called “Reverie with Mistiness”that is produced a painting style of his own as “Out of the world with nimble gracefulness”.
其貫通古今、融合中西的繪畫理論與技巧，將傳統東方抒情氣韻融入仕女水影山光，雅淡悠遠，輕盈曼妙，畫面留白獨到，尤其藉著水份的流動，掌握生動的瞬間，讓觀者心閒氣定而回味無窮，並感受到作者已將藝術、宗教、思想、感情融於一爐。
진양춘은 고금과 동서양을 잘 결합한 자신만의 회화 이론과 기교를 통해 동양의 전통적인 서정적 기품을 아름다운 풍경에 담아내었다. 그의 화폭에서는 부드럽고, 우아하면서도 아득한 운치를 절로 느낄 수 있으며, 특히 물방울의 움직임을 통해 생동감 있는 한 순간을 표현하여 이후 더 큰 여운을 남기고 있다. 또한 그의 그림을 통해 예술, 종교, 사상, 감정의 혼연일체 경지를 맛볼 수 있다.
His painting theories and techniques are well-thought from past to the present as well as to put together of both the East and the West, and to have traditional East lyric atmosphere mixed into the Landscape of watery shadow & mountain view on the Lady’s background that is produced with an effect on the drawing as light as the perfume will disperse into the thin air, and to feel like dancing as a fairy will, while it is with expertise on the places that are to be left out blank, moreover, especially with the movements of water flows, to have completely control in catching the moment of liveliness, and in turn to allow viewers with comforts and at ease as well as to retrospect over and over without boringness, in addition, to feel that the painter has put arts, religions, ideas and emotions all mixed together into his creations.
陳氏曾舉辦135次個展，足跡遍及舊金山、洛杉磯、田納西、亞特蘭大、聖地牙哥、聖安東尼、休士頓、溫哥華、哥斯大黎加、東京、名古屋、福岡、菲律賓、香港、澳門、愛丁堡、格拉斯哥、巴黎、泰國、馬來西亞、新加坡、韓國、里昂、土耳其、約旦、巴林、希臘、以及中國順德、佛山、常州、天津、齊齊哈爾、福建東山、約堡、史瓦濟蘭、開普敦、賴索托等地，所到之處佳評如潮，備受推崇。其作品已被世界38個城市人士收藏，曾多次擔任重要美展及選美評審，並經常應邀講學，提倡國際文化交流，主張藝術下鄉紮根，追求人生真善美愛。
진양춘은 지금까지 전 세계를 돌며, 135회의 개인 전시회를 개최하였다. 그가 전시회를 개최한 도시는 샌프란시스코, 로스앤젤레스, 테네시, 아틀란타, 샌디에고, 새인트 안토니오, 휴스톤, 밴쿠버, 코스타리코, 도쿄, 나고야, 후쿠오카, 필리핀, 홍콩, 마카오, 에딘버러, 글래스고, 파리, 태국, 말레이시아, 싱가포르, 한국, 리옹, 터키, 요르단, 바레인, 그리스, 요하네스버그, 스와질랜드, 케이프타운, 레소토 및 중국의 순덕, 불산, 상주, 천진, 치치하얼, 복건, 동산 등이다. 그는 매 전시회마다 높은 평가를 받았으며, 현재 전 세계 38개 도시에 있는 소장가들이 그의 작품을 소장하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 그는 여러차례 주요 미술 대전과 미인 대회에서 평가위원을 역임하였고, 국제 문화 교류의 증진을 위해 초청 강연에도 자주 응대하며, 강연을 통해 예술의 근본 및 인생의 참된 아름다움과 선함 추구를 주창하였다.
Mr. Chen has held 135 times of personal exhibitions, which are with footprints all over areas such as San Francisco, Los Angles, Tennessee, Atlanta, San Diego, St. Antonio, Houston, Vancouver, Costa Rico, Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macao, Edingburgh, Glasgow, Paris, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Lyon, Turkey, Jordan, Bahrain, Greek, Johannesburg, Swaziland, Cape Town, Lesotho, and China that to include its cities such as Shunte, Foshan, Changzhou, Tianjing, Qiqihar, FuChien, and DongShan. Moreover, he is honored with revere and has received good reviews out of everywhere without ends. Furthermore, his works have been collected by people around 38 cities in the world, and he has taken jobs many times as judges for important art exhibitions and beauty competitions. Also, he has been invited quite often to give speeches, in order to promote international culture exchanges, and to have emphasis that arts should be deep rooted into towns and corners of the nation, as well as to look after the truth, virtue, beauty and love of life.
為了讓「藝術走入校園」，已在美國田納西大學、美國聖荷西大學、聖道大學、美國馬莉維爾學院、艾羅蒙特學院、新加坡南洋藝術學院(義賣十件作品捐贈該校)、馬來西亞中央藝術學院、香港中文大學、菲律賓聖湯瑪士大學、菲律賓中正學院、天津師範大學、齊齊哈爾師範大學、西安美術學院、長安大學、南非金山大學、約堡大學、開普敦大學、國立中興大學、國立臺灣藝術大學、臺北科技大學、國立中山大學、龍華科技大學、環球技術學院遊歷講學，並在母縣國立虎尾高中設立「文化大使陳陽春藝苑」、母校北港高中設立「文化大使陳陽春校友藝廊」。
진양춘은 캠퍼스에서 예술을 느낄 수 있도록 하기 위해, 미국 테네시 대학교, 산호세 대학교, 메리빌 대학교, 인타네잇 대학교, 싱가포르 난양 파인아트 아카데미 (10점의 작품을 자선 판매 한 후, 그 수익금을 학교에 기부), 말레이시아 중앙예술대학교, 홍콩 중문대학교, 필리핀 세인트토마스 대학교, 필리핀 중정대학교, 천진사범대학교, 치치하얼사범대학교, 서안미술대학교, 장안대학교, 요하네스버그 대학교, 케이프타운대학교, 국립중흥대학교, 국립대만예술대학교, 타이베이과학기술대학교, 국립중산대학교 등 여러 나라의 대학교에서 강연을 하였다. 뿐만 아니라 그의 고향에 위치한 국립 후웨이고등학교에 ‘문화대사 진양춘 아트 센터’를, 그리고 모교인 베이강 고등학교에 ‘문화대사 진양춘 아트 갤러리’를 설립하였다.
In order to allow “Arts Into the Campus”, he has traveled around and given out speeches in the United States Tennessee University, United States San José University, University of the Incarnate Word, United States Maryville College, Erroll Monteux College, Singapore Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts(charity sale of 10 works made as donation to the school), Malaysia Central Fine Arts College, Hong Kong Chinese University, Philippines St. Thomas University, Philippines Chungcheng College, Tianjing Teacher’s University, Qiqihar Teacher’s University, Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, Chang’an University, South Africa Witswatersrand University, Johannesburg University, Cape Town University, National Chung Hsing University, National Taiwan University of Arts, National Taipei Technology University, National Chung Shan University, Lung Hwa University of Science and Technology, and Transworld Institute of Technology.
